Source traceability
Keep facts, claims, and citations connected to original material throughout generation.
Traceability has three layers: original provenance, parsed content chunks, and citation links from drafts back to those chunks.
What import preserves
- Original URL or file identity.
- Available title, author, and publication metadata.
- Import time, parser, and failure reason.
- Original text or an immutable safely stored copy.
How creation uses it
After references are selected, the agent searches only the authorized knowledge scope. Important claims should carry citations. Unknown information should be marked as uncertain instead of completed into confident prose.
What reviewers check
Prioritize numbers, proper nouns, dates, causal claims, and direct quotations. A citation proves provenance, not correctness; reviewers must still verify that context was not truncated or misread.
Updating or deleting an external source does not rewrite imported evidence. Refresh it as a new version and re-review affected content.
