Check evidence and original sources
Keep original material and distinguish supported facts, analysis and unanswered questions.

Source information lets you check a claim. Keep original URLs and text during capture, and include enough context around excerpts to make them verifiable.
Specify the files, links or text the task should use. Supply missing material before proceeding. A URL alone does not prove AI has read the full article, comments or video transcript.
Check supported statements against the original. Interpretations need an explanation of their basis, and unsupported points should remain questions. Asking AI to identify sources helps review, but you still need to open them.
Available citations and source records depend on the material and task output. Do not assume every sentence automatically has an exact citation, or that a link guarantees a correct quotation.
Older information can explain a historical situation without applying today. Check dates and scope before use. If a fact changes, review other platform versions that rely on it.
