Choose and configure a workspace
Select a local or online workspace based on data location, collaboration, and agent execution.
A workspace decides where content is stored. It does not force the agent to run in the same place.

Online workspaces
Online workspaces support collaboration, the Web console, and device sync. Grant the minimum required role and separate clients, brands, or distinct content programs into different workspaces.
Local workspaces
Local workspaces live in the Universal Client. Signing in does not upload their content. Signing out removes the local sign-in token but does not delete local business data.
Agent location
A local workspace can use a device runtime. An online workspace can use either a local runtime or DraPub Cloud Agent. Mobile clients initially use the cloud agent and do not assume desktop-class runtimes can run on a phone.
