Workspaces, IP and data location
Understand the creator identity attached to a workspace and the differences between local and cloud storage.

Each workspace belongs to one IP, the creator or brand identity you operate. Creating a workspace creates its profile, and the workspace and IP names stay aligned.
Check the workspace name in the switcher, then open IP operations. Inspiration, projects, assets and conversations belong to that workspace. Create another workspace when you want a separate creator identity.
Use projects for different series under the same identity and knowledge bases for reusable references. Organizing a topic does not require a new IP.

Signing in does not automatically turn a desktop local workspace into a cloud workspace. Back up local files and check which material exists only on this computer before changing devices.
Storage location and AI execution are separate choices. A local workspace does not make every AI request offline. Check which references a task will send before using cloud AI or another provider.
If a task disappears after switching workspaces, look in its original workspace before creating another one. Continue with Devices and synchronization.
