Check the current version, proposed edits and approval scope, including conflicting revisions.

Review content in its original conversation or output preview. The decision should apply to the version you intend to use, not an earlier message approving a different draft.
Open references and verify names, figures, dates and the conditions behind each claim. Then review structure, title and voice. Identify the exact passage and reason when requesting changes.
If only part of a revision is useful, ask to preserve the correct passages and change the rest rather than accepting an unreliable draft wholesale.
Use a diff view when available. If you edited the text while AI was generating, compare the current draft and AI candidate before choosing which to keep. Recheck delivery content after adopting a new version.
Read the target, action and scope. Permission for the current operation does not authorize every future task. Give a reason when declining so that the next attempt can address it.
