Get started

Download, install, and connect

Choose the right client and browser extension, then finish your first sign-in, workspace, knowledge base, and page capture.

This guide takes a first-time user from the official download to a verified source in DraPub Inbox.

Choose what to install

Install the desktop client for the complete workspace. Add the browser extension to capture the current page or save an approved content package to a platform draft. Open the download center and choose the package that matches your operating system and CPU.

Choose Apple silicon for M1 or later M-series Macs, Intel for older Macs, and x64 for mainstream Windows or Linux devices. “Coming soon” means the verified release package is not published yet.

Install and sign in

  1. Confirm that the file name matches your operating system and CPU architecture.
  2. Compare its checksum when the release provides one.
  3. Complete the operating-system installer and launch DraPub from your applications list.
  4. Sign in and choose a local or online workspace.

A local workspace stays in the device SQLite database. An online workspace supports Web, team, and multi-device access.

Create a knowledge base

Open Knowledge, choose New knowledge base, and use a durable topic name such as “Product tutorial sources.” One knowledge base is enough for the first run.

Connect the browser extension

  1. Install the extension from the official store link, or use the ZIP only for manual installation.
  2. Pin DraPub to the toolbar and sign in to the Web console.
  3. Open a page you are allowed to save.
  4. Review the extracted title, body, and source URL, then choose your knowledge base.
  5. Confirm the capture and return to Inbox.

The first connection is complete when the source appears in Inbox, its preview is correct, and it belongs to the intended knowledge base. Platform credentials stay in the browser and are not sent to the DraPub Backend.
