Small teams need fewer handoff losses, not more content spreadsheets
Replace state scattered across chats, sheets, docs, and platform backends with source packs, master drafts, review events, and receipts.
Small-team content operations often begin with a spreadsheet: topic, owner, channel, date, status. As sources, drafts, and channels grow, the spreadsheet remains while chats, drives, documents, and platform draft boxes multiply around it.
The problem is not missing status. Every handoff requires reconstructing context.
Put state back on the object
A source should carry provenance. A master draft should carry citations and edits. A channel version should carry platform constraints. A package should carry review decisions. A publishing result should carry a receipt. A spreadsheet can be a view, but not the only database for all of them.
Make decisions in one place
If an editor says “ship it” in chat, an operator marks a row complete, and the platform contains another version, the system cannot identify the valid decision. Approval should attach to a specific content version with reviewer, time, and reason.
Make exceptions clearer than the happy path
The useful view is not a wall of green “done.” It reveals which source failed parsing, which number lacks evidence, which platform result is unknown, and whose approval a change is waiting for.
Small teams do not need enterprise process theater. They need a lightweight stateful path that removes archaeology from every handoff.
