The prompt

ULTRA REALISTIC 15 SECOND PERSONAL HOME VIDEO. 1080p render of 4:3 early 2000s MiniDV tape footage. Single continuous handheld take, no cuts. Sung Hindi vocal, diegetic performance. Title: TERI AADAT.

CONCEPT
Dusk on a terrace. A young man plays an old acoustic guitar sitting on the parapet, and the young woman sings along with him, badly and happily, halfway through a verse. Their friend is filming on a camcorder from a few feet away. It is a love song but nobody is performing a love song, they are just two people killing an evening and the tape happened to be running.

SUBJECT LOCK ONE
Indian woman, early twenties, warm medium brown skin. Realistic skin with visible pores, faint under eye shadow, minimal makeup, slight shine on the forehead in the low sun. Dark brown hair loosely tied back with strands pulling loose in the wind. Oversized cream knit sweater with stretched cuffs, blue jeans, white sneakers scuffed at the toe. Same face, same hair, same outfit held identically for the full 15 seconds. Sitting cross legged on a folded mat, knees tucked, unposed and slightly slouched.

SUBJECT LOCK TWO
Indian man, early twenties, medium brown skin, short unstyled hair, faint stubble. Faded olive shirt with sleeves pushed to the elbows, dark jeans, worn sandals. Sitting on the low parapet with a scratched acoustic guitar across his lap, head down watching his own fingers, glancing up at her twice.

SETTING
Open concrete terrace of an older residential building, autumn evening. Low parapet with peeling paint, a black water tank, a sagging clothesline with nothing on it, dry leaves in one corner. Beyond the parapet, a dense low rise neighbourhood of flat roofs, cables and water tanks, hazy warm sun almost down. Lived in and unstyled. No visible brands, no logos, no readable signage anywhere in frame.

CAMERA
Raw handheld MiniDV camcorder held by a friend sitting a few feet away, angle slightly low and off center. Autofocus hunting between the guitar strings and her face. Exposure pumping as the lens drifts toward the bright sky and back down. One slow unmotivated zoom in on her, overshooting so her forehead is cropped, then correcting. Framing keeps both of them in shot but never composes them nicely. Mild tape noise, interlace combing on fast movement, one brief tape dropout glitch. No stabilization, no gimbal, no cinematic choreography, no rack focus.

BEATS
0:00 to 0:04 He is already mid strum. She listens with her chin on her knee, mouthing the words before she commits to singing them.
0:04 to 0:10 She sings the first two lines properly, off pitch on the second, and laughs at herself without stopping. He keeps playing and grins down at the guitar.
0:10 to 0:13 She sings the last two lines quieter, watching him instead of the camera. He looks up at her once. Neither reacts, no kiss, no held gaze, they both look away.
0:13 to 0:15 The guitar rings out unresolved, she pulls her sleeve over her hand, wind hits the mic, tape cuts.

VOCAL AND LYRICS
Original composition, not an existing song. Spoken and sung language locked to Hindi. Single female voice, untrained, close and unmixed, sung at conversational volume.
0:04 Dheere dheere shaam dhalti hai
0:07 Kuch bhi nahi kehna aaj
0:10 Teri aadat si ho gayi hai
0:12 Rehne de, bas yahi theek hai
Precise lipsync to the sung line, bilabial closure on the m, b and p sounds, jaw and throat movement consistent with singing rather than speaking. Slight breath before each line. No harmony, no second voice, no backing vocal.

AUDIO
Diegetic only. The acoustic guitar visible in frame is the only instrument, recorded on the camcorder mic so it is thin and boxy. Her voice, wind across the terrace clipping the mic, guitar body knocks, crows, a distant pressure horn, a television faint from a floor below, faint hand noise on the camcorder body. No studio track, no backing music, no reverb, no score, no added ambience beds.

STYLE RULES
Nothing dramatic happens on purpose. No lip biting, no slow motion hair, no romantic staging, no golden hour beauty lighting, no lingering eye contact, no music video choreography. The romance is only in the fact that neither of them looks at the camera. Realism comes from the off pitch line, the imperfect framing, and the unresolved chord at the end. If either of them performs for the lens the illusion breaks.

NEGATIVE
No music track. No subtitles. No captions. No watermark. No timestamp burn in. No slow motion. No color grading. No lens flare. No shallow depth of field. No crowd. No third visible person. No brand logos. No readable text.

LAST FRAME
Wide slightly crooked frame of both of them on the terrace with the sun gone and the sky flat blue, image tears with one frame of tape distortion, then hard cut to black. Absolutely no on screen text, no title card, no lettering, no numbers, no logo, no signage of any kind in the final frame.
