Design a light-mode mobile app interface screen: sunlit alpine panoramas grounded by crisp white cards and nuanced adventure metadata.
LAYOUT
The mobile interface follows a vertical narrative stack designed for seamless thumb scrolling. It opens with an edge-to-edge scenic canopy holding header navigation and display typography, followed immediately by a floating search pill. The center of the viewport is dedicated to an offset horizontal carousel showing the active card scaled up between two peeked neighbours, concluding with a pagination dot strip and horizontal featured expedition cards below.
PALETTE (use these exact hex values)
- #1A383F — Deep Spruce Slate: Primary typography, top app bar iconography, and high-impact display titles.
- #FFFFFF — Pure Cloud: Background fill for floating search pill, carousel cards, and featured tour modules.
- #EBF1F4 — Glacial Mist: Background substrate beneath fading hero imagery and inactive pagination indicators.
- #2B8B9B — Amalfi Teal: Active destination category badges, selected tour pills, and moderate difficulty text.
- #3B8A6E — Valley Pine: Nature category icon glyph fills and easy difficulty status indicators.
- #D97736 — Terracotta Sunset: Hard difficulty badges and seasonal timeline highlights like peak travel months.
- #768B94 — Granite Muted: Subheadings, search placeholder text, and secondary metadata field labels.
TYPOGRAPHY
Typeface Plus Jakarta Sans (or Outfit, DM Sans, Manrope), weights 400/500/600/700. Sizes 11px caption, 13px body-sm, 15px body, 18px subheading, 22px heading, 26px heading-lg, 42px display. Tracking -0.03em at display, 0 at caption. The typography is clean, confident, and editorial, powered by modern geometric sans-serif shapes with open apertures and friendly rounded counters. Bold display sizes give destination names an authoritative, aspirational presence while smaller labels maintain crisp legibility through generous letter spacing. Ideal substitutes like Plus Jakarta Sans or Outfit retain this boutique adventure aesthetic.
GEOMETRY & SPACING
Corner radii — cards 22px, links 4px, inputs 999px, buttons 999px. Spacing on a 4px unit, 14px gaps, 28px between sections, 390px container, comfortable density.
DEPTH
Depth is communicated through layered physical planes rather than heavy shadows. The primary canvas flows from photographic background into white card surfaces via delicate, diffused drop shadows (0 10px 24px rgba(26,56,63,0.07)). Overlapping badge circles and scaled-up carousel heights introduce physical verticality without clutter.
IMAGERY
Imagery features sweeping, high-clarity travel and landscape photography: rugged peaks, Mediterranean sea cliffs, volcanic plateaus, and outdoor gravel cyclists. Photos must be naturally lit, saturated with sunlit greens, sky blues, and warm earth tones. Avoid studio portraits, neon artificial palettes, or indoor commercial shots.
SIGNATURE DETAIL — the thing that makes this design itself
The signature element is the focal card scale differential paired with the 50% overlapping circular icon badge. In the destination carousel, the active center card physically towers over its neighbours while a branded circular emblem straddles the exact transition between the top photo and lower card body with a crisp white boundary ring. Removing the offset scale or badge overlap turns it into a generic flat mobile carousel.
MUST
- Anchor the hero viewport with evocative, high-contrast natural daylight landscapes.
- Scale up the active carousel card vertically and horizontally to establish clear optical focus.
- Overlap circular icon badges exactly 50% across the boundary between photo and card body.
- Apply 999px pill radii strictly to interactive search inputs and taxonomy tags.
AVOID
- Do not use sharp 0px corners on cards, containers, or imagery.
- Do not allow the background mountain photograph to overpower headline legibility; ensure atmospheric sky fade.
- Do not use solid dark navigation bars or heavy strokes around card perimeters.
- Do not shrink circular category badges below 32px or remove their white perimeter rings.
OUTPUT
Render as a clean, pixel-crisp UI design at roughly 1280:3840. Flat vector rendering, real legible text, no browser chrome, no device mockup frame, no watermark, no lorem ipsum placeholder blocks. Try in DraPub
