A single character reference sheet photograph, wide landscape format, on one continuous
plain flat mid-grey background, perfectly uniform with no gradient and no shadow falling
on
it. Flat even studio lighting from the front across the whole sheet, no dramatic light,
no rim light, no colour cast.
Three views of the same person are arranged side by side on this one sheet, evenly spaced,
all standing on the same invisible ground line, all lit identically.
THE SUBJECT — a Japanese woman who works as a corporate advisor, dressed for a working
day. Tall and slim with a long neck and noticeably upright posture, standing squarely with
her weight even on both feet. Warm light skin that stays exactly one even tone across the
whole face: no red tint on the nose, no pink tint, no rosy cheeks, no flush. An oval face
with a clean jawline, a straight narrow nose, softly full lips and calm almond eyes set
level under full natural eyebrows. The gaze is steady and attentive rather than friendly —
someone who listens before she speaks. Her features are regular and well balanced, but she
wears almost no make-up: bare lips, no eyeshadow, no eyeliner, no contouring, no false
lashes. Black hair reaching just past the shoulders, tied back into a low neat ponytail at
the nape with a few fine strands loose at the temples. A navy wool trouser suit, single-
breasted jacket worn open, straight-leg trousers, over a plain white cotton shirt open at
the collar. Low black leather heels. A plain steel wristwatch on the left wrist and no
other jewellery at all: no earrings, no necklace, no rings.
Her expression is neutral and closed-mouth in every view. She does not smile anywhere on
this sheet.
LEFT VIEW — a large portrait, head and shoulders only. The face is square to the camera
and looks straight into the lens — the face is frontal, not turned away. The head is
tilted gently to one side: the crown of the head tips toward the subject's own right
shoulder, which is the shoulder on the FRAME-LEFT side of the picture. A soft tilt of
roughly ten degrees, no more. The shoulders stay level. This tilt is required.
This portrait is by far the largest element on the sheet: the head alone is at least twice
the height of either standing figure's head, and it fills roughly the left third of the
picture from top to bottom.
Keep the real fine pores, the vellus hair along the jaw and the natural asymmetry of the
skin. No retouching, no smoothing, no beauty filter. A small clear catch-light in each
eye.
CENTRE VIEW — a full-body figure from the neck down, standing straight and facing the
camera, arms relaxed at the sides, feet slightly apart. The figure ends cleanly at the
base of the neck: no head, no chin, no face is drawn anywhere on this figure.
Show the slim build, the shoulder line of the jacket, the fall and length of the trousers
and the shoes clearly.
RIGHT VIEW — the same figure seen from directly behind, full body including the head this
time, standing straight, arms relaxed at the sides. Show the low neat ponytail against the
back of the head, the plain uninterrupted back of the navy jacket with no vent detail
exaggerated, and the back of the trousers and shoes.
Photorealistic throughout. Keep the wool weave of the suit and the cotton of the shirt
real. No film grain, no cinematic lens effects, no vignette, no colour grade, no depth-of-
field blur.
Nothing else is on the sheet: no labels, no captions, no names, no arrows, no measurement
lines, no borders, no colour swatches, no props, no second person. Only the three views
and the flat grey background.
